With our web access action, you can define specific situations in which your AI agent is allowed to use, in addition to your internal knowledge base, external websites that you explicitly specify. This allows the agent to answer your contacts’ questions or perform further actions.
For the web access action, we rely on an external provider that continuously crawls the internet and keeps the content in a searchable index.
Due to the vast amount of data available on the internet (and the fact that it changes continuously), this index cannot guarantee 100% coverage. As a result, not every website is crawled or updated regularly, which may cause individual subpages or even entire websites to be outdated or not available at all.
Since this is completely outside of our control, the web access action should be considered a possible fallback.
The API Action with direct access to your corresponding database (e.g., products, jobs, etc.) as well as the website sync of the integrated knowledge base should be preferred whenever possible.
To create a new Web access action, click the blue “+ Add” button.

- Searches predefined websites for relevant information and retrieves it.
